Executives and Managers are islands amongst many - too often on their own. They need a neutral sounding board and an outside ear to discuss the challenges and opportunities they face, to help solidify their strategies and vision, and, finally, to help them aim before firing.

Business takes practice and the skills that got you to the position you’re in now are not necessarily the skills you need in that position. Being an executive or a manager requires political insight, leadership skills, personal integrity and a host of other proficiencies. Through coaching, you will develop a personal plan to help you become a trusted, respected, influential, and successful leader in your organization who truly makes a difference.

Personal Coaching at the corporate level is a deliberate activity designed to help individuals develop strategies and habits to increase their value to the organization and to themselves. Coaching is highly effective in developing soft skills, team contribution, career direction, and unceasingly high performance and success.

Of all the factors leading to success, be it personal, professional, or organizational, the most important is self-awareness. Some of the tools used to increase this self-awareness, individually or at the group level, include assessments such as:

  • Gallup’s “Q12”
Measures an individual’s or a group’s level of engagement based on 12 key statements.
  • Motivational Appraisal of Personal Potential (MAPP)
Identifys personal, natural motivation and talent.
  • Gallup’s StengthsFinder
Used to identify and develop individual talents and strengths.
  • Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
Personality type indicator based on Jungian psychology.
  • Emotional Intelligence Appraisal
Measures a person’s ability to perceive, understand, and manage emotions.

These assessments help us see ourselves from the other side of the mirror. They give us an objective picture of who we are, why we do what we do, and where our talents lie. With this insight, we can develop a strategy to increase our effectiveness, to build on our talents, to increase our sense of fulfillment, and, ultimately, lead ourselves to a better, more successful, and more satisfying life.

Understanding key personality traits brings new knowledge and new perspective to the individual, their manager, and their leaders. It equips people with the knowledge of what their own personal style is and how it differs from others. It brings realization to all that each person offers unique abilities and insights and helps direct people to roles and actions for which they are best suited.
